Hey. I’m Nate Guggia. Every year I talk with hundreds of Marketing, Brand, Sales, and Recruiting leaders. These are the people doing the work that touches their markets. Most work in-house, on the front lines, in the weeds. What's keeping folks awake at night, and what are they doing about it? I use this newsletter to share what I'm hearing.

My favorite conversations are the wild ones.

New ideas, inside stories, bizarre problems, clever solutions. I love going there. And that’s usually what’s here. And yes, yes, an assortment of tactical and strategic musings, too.

For the most part, this newsletter goes out to the kind of people I talk to: Marketing, Brand, Sales, and Recruiting leaders. Some folks oversee 100’s of employees, some are teams of one. Startup founders, function leaders, and operators also hang out in these parts.

Only the finest healing crystals and dietary supplements! No, but seriously. I do head up the brand and marketing stuff at a company called flytedesk. We’re the largest college marketing platform in the US. We have access to advertising space on over 2300 US college and university campuses and reach 95% of the US student population. If marketing to Gen Z is your thing, I’m happy to talk. My conversations occasionally lead to collaboration, contracts, money, etc. I’ve received some raised eyebrows for this in the past, but, honestly, this whole thing—newsletter, conversations, being helpful—it’s how my brain works. Also, practically speaking, the people I talk with often need the flytedesk cavalry. And I’d rather have it at my fingertips than not.
