Employer Branding Show-and-Tell with Brad Clark: The Consumerization of Jobs
Currently, talent teams create a candidate experience like an easter egg hunt, spreading information out all over the place. We need to create a frictionless journey—like the ones we’re accustomed to as consumers in our personal lives.
This next show is my jam—it's the overarching philosophy and approach to talent marketing that I've been talking about for the last two years.
25-second read
Candidates are consumers.
And moving companies is equivalent to buying a big-ticket item.
Think about the level of research that went into buying your last car, home, or even just a first-time purchase online.
You researched, compared, maybe talked to someone who’s bought a similar item, and possibly even sought advice.
Candidate behavior has become that.
And on the next Employer Branding Show-and-Tell I’m talking with Bradley Clark, Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition at Article, about designing a candidate experience that maps to how we buy as consumers.
