Your feed sucks because it's lacking context.
It’s polluted with posts that offer little to no indication of who they’re for and why that group should care.
Context connects a person to an idea. It establishes that this isn’t for everyone, it’s for you.
It’s intentional. Specific. Narrow. Useful to a group.
This is why context contributes, whereas generalizations detract. Because you, my friend, are not general. You’re specific. At least when you’re on here you are.
Moral of the story: Always sacrifice engagement numbers for context. The more narrow you are, the more valuable you are to a specific group. Think 1000 true fans.
