TL; DR: WGAF.
Social media isn't real life.
Anyone complaining about their posts suddenly getting less reach is confused about what is and isn't of real-world importance—and has likely been pandering to the algorithm and audience anyway.
Move on, do better, do you, and stop caring about the algorithmic computer god that certainly doesn’t care about you.
Caring, and even worse, posting about it shows that attention (ego) is more important than the words, videos, and messages themselves. That’s a terribly short-sighted way to go about, well, anything.
Within this context, freedom is found in not caring. Not caring about the algorithms, the fake “connections”, the false sense of importance, the agreeable applause, and especially the make-believe world that a giant corporation has intentionally designed to make you feel like you matter and believe that strangers think you’re smart.
Spoiler alert….
Ah, you know the punchline.
(Now, if we're talking about being censored and throttled, that's a different convo. But that's not what's happening here.)
Bottom line: Be free, friends.
